Let Us Make It Happen, Together
Support the Building of Shala Gurukulam
यज्ञदानतपःकर्म न त्याज्यं कार्यमेव तत्। यज्ञो दानं तपश्चैव पावनानि मनीषिणाम्॥ — Bhagavad Gītā 18.5
Actions of yajna, charity, and penance should never be abandoned , they must be performed. Even for the wise, these acts remain purifying.
Why your Support Matters?
A Gurukul isn't built by one person. It's built by everyone who believes seekers deserve a home in the Himalayas, a place to return to, not just visit once.
Every rupee given here goes directly into making that home stronger, steadier, and open to more sadhaks, for longer.
Annadanam Seva
Feed the Seeker, Feed the Divine Do not disrespect food. Do not turn food away.

At Shala Gurukulam, no one who arrives hungry leaves that way. Annadanam, the seva of feeding, is one of the oldest and most sacred forms of giving in Sanatana Dharma.
Your contribution to Annadanam Seva helps prepare simple, sattvic meals for sadhaks, volunteers, and pilgrims passing through, cooked with the same care as an offering, because that's exactly what it is.
अन्नं न निन्द्यात् । अन्नं न परिचक्षीत ॥ - Taittirīya Upaniṣad, Bhṛguvallī

Why Volunteer Here?
Shala Gurukulam runs on the hands and hearts of the people who choose to serve it. In return, volunteers get something rare, a real seat inside the daily life of a Himalayan ashram, not a curated version of it.
Our volunteer program is simple, by design. There are no rigid tiers to qualify for, just an open invitation to sadhaks who want to give their time and grow in return.
Volunteering can begin with a short stay and grow from there. There's no pressure to commit to months before you've even arrived, come, live the rhythm, and let the length of your stay find its own shape.
